A tornado touched down west of Marshall in southwest Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.

The Sioux Falls office of the National Weather Service tweeted this photo of the twister, noting that it was located northeast of Arco, or near the towns of Lynd, Minneota, Ivanhoe and Taunton.

It's unclear if the tornado caused damage.

The Storm Prediction Center had placed southwest Minnesota in a marginal risk for severe storms Sunday, but did not expect any tornadoes.
