Conditions for severe storms and isolated tornadoes are in place Sunday afternoon across east-central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, and with that a tornado watch has been issued.
The watch includes most of Twin Cities metro area, minus the far southern suburbs.
"A cluster of strong to severe storms should develop east from central Minnesota this afternoon. Damaging winds should be the primary hazard, but a couple tornadoes and large hail will be possible as well," the Storm Prediction Center says.
