A toy sold exclusively at Minneapolis-based Target has been recalled as it poses a choking hazard to children.
The Manhattan Ball was recalled on Wednesday. Sold exclusively at Target since July 2019, the toy has a hard plastic center with soft tubes attached. Teethers are attached to the tubes.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, the tubes can detach from the center and release the teethers, posing a choking hazard.
Target had sold around 22,100 Manhattan Balls since the toy came out. The toy is a product of The Manhattan Toy Company, which is also based out of Minneapolis. The company specializes in toys for babies and young children.
The Manhattan Ball sold for around $10. Customers should return the toy to Target for a refund.
