An agent for the Transportation Security Administration at MSP Airport was assaulted by a group of teens on a Blue Line light rail train in Minneapolis.

A Metro Transit police report says that the 67-year-old TSA worker said a group of eight teens was acting rowdy on the northbound Blue Line at 46th Street around 10:35 p.m. Monday.

One of the teens allegedly grabbed the man's hair, at which point a scuffle ensued during which the man used a racial slur, and said "keep your hands off me."

The police report, which notes the victim regretted using the slur, says the altercation continued with the teens pushing and shoving the man, with one grabbing his hair again.

During the struggle, the victim was hit multiple times in the head, suffering cuts to his head and forehead.

He told police that his assailants were black teens aged between 14-16.

The incident is under investigation by Metro Transit police, with another man, aged 27, listed as a possible victim in the incident.
