'Twilight' actress in Twin Cities to mark home video release

One of the stars of the blockbuster hit movie "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" is in the Twin Cities Friday to celebrate the film's release on DVD and Blu-ray.

Judith Shekoni, who plays Zafrina in the film, is scheduled to appear at Walmart in Maple Grove at 11 p.m. Friday night.

"Breaking Dawn, Part 2" will officially be released on video at midnight, and the studio is staging several release parties nationwide to mark the event.

In "Breaking Dawn, Part 2," Shekoni's character, Zafrina, is the leader of the Amazons -- who team with the Cullen clan in their final battle against the powerful vampire group, The Volturi.

Shekoni will greet fans and sign discs at the Twin Cities event. The British actress' credits also include TV's "Mike & Molly," "Brothers & Sisters" and "NCIS."

"Breaking Dawn, Part 2" was the sixth-highest grossing film of 2012, grossing $292 million at the North American Box office. It grossed an additional $537 million overseas for an worldwide box office take of more than $829 million.
