Twin Cities father-of-two killed in ATV crash in Wisconsin
A father-of-two from the Twin Cities was killed in a crash between a pair of ATVs in western Wisconsin on Saturday.
The crash involving "multiple ATVs" happened around 1:40 p.m. Saturday near County Road N in Richland, according to the Rusk County Sheriff's Department.
Killed in the crash was Alan Hanson, 28, of Oak Grove, with another Minnesotan, Jordan Wells, 28, of Isanti, seriously injured.
A third Minnesota man, a 27-year-old from Isanti, was arrested on suspicion of causing homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and causing injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
He was driving one of the ATVs involved.
Hanson was a father of two children, 2-year-old Graham and 5-month-old Maren, and also leaves behind his fiancée Rachel, according to a GoFundMe fundraiser.
"The loss of this young, bright life has left all who knew him in shock," the page says. "Everything has changed - for none more so than the sweet little family Alan built."
The fundraiser has so far raised just over $9,000, which will help with the funeral costs and living expenses for his family.
