Twin Cities man killed in rollover crash near Monticello
A 37-year-old St. Paul man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 near Monticello on Friday morning.
Matthew M. Miller was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram in the left lane of eastbound I-94 when he and the driver of a SUV in the right lane collided, causing Miller to lose control and cause the truck to roll.
Miller was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene, the State Patrol said.
The 38-year-old Maple Grove man was not injured.
The crash happened around 10:40 a.m.
Ninety-five people have died on Minnesota roads so far in 2021. Thats up from 77 at the same point in 2020, according to the Office of Traffic Safety.
