Twin Cities pianist Lorie Line's home in foreclosure
The home belonging to Twin Cities pianist Lorie Line and her husband-manager, Tim Line, is in foreclosure, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal reported.
The publication obtained records on the pending sheriff's sale on the Orono home from Hennepin County. The Lines reportedly owe $2.05 million on the house to The Bank of New York Mellon.
The Business Journal said the Hennepin County Assessor in 2011 valued the home at $2.9 million. The couple put the house up for sale for $4 million in October.
The Lines said they anticipated to have cash to avert the Dec. 12 sheriff's sale since Lorie Line will soon be embarking on a holiday concert tour.
Lorie Line, who has recorded 40 albums since 1989, is also a part of a holiday CD released Tuesday that is set to benefit local charites.
