Two boys die in Big Lake house fire police suspect was started by father

The victims are aged 1 and 2.

Two children have died in a house fire in Big Lake, Minnesota, that police suspect was started deliberately by their father.

The fire was reported at 5:37 a.m. in the 19000 block of Karen Lane, with firefighters breaking into the house and rescuing five people, four of them children.

However, two of the children later died in the hospital. They have been identified as Landon Michael Parker, 2, and Spencer Rae Parker, 1.

Their 36-year-old father was also hospitalized along with two other children, aged 9 and 7.

Investigators in Sherburne County believe the father "intentionally set the fire," and he's under guard by police as he undergoes hospital treatment.
