Two men have been charged with burglarizing a St. Louis County home multiple times while the owner was away.

The St. The Louis County Sheriff's Department received a report of the burglary on March 30 at a property east of Floodwood.

The owners had been away from the home for months as they wintered in another state, and friends stopped by the house to discover a break in.

It turns out the home had been burglarized multiple times within the span of a week and a half.

Items stolen include a firearm, ATV, utility trailer, television set tools and personal property, including valued family heirlooms.

After deputies from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department and Floodwood Police Department issued search warrants in and around the area on April 1, many of the items were discovered. Two individuals have since been charged.

Blake Havirland, 37, was charged with first degree burglary, and Forrest Runquist. 58, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property.

Officials believe more people are likely to be involved in the crime.
