Two Minnesotans killed in New Mexico crash
A couple from Minnesota died in a crash in New Mexico on Saturday morning.
The New Mexico State Police reports that a Ford F-250 was hauling a 36-foot Rockwood camper trailer on I-40 about 60 miles east of Albuquerque when the crash happened.
"For reasons unknown," the driver of the truck lost control and rolled while passing a commercial vehicle.
The driver, Duane George, 64, and passenger, Patricia George, 61, were both killed in the crash.
They are from Elk River, Minnesota, the state police noted.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash and both were wearing their seatbelts.
The cause of the crash continues to be investigated.
