In a crime alert, University of Minnesota police say the victim was near Huron Boulevard and Essex Street Southeast around 5:30 p.m. at the time.

As she neared her apartment building, the suspect came up from behind and groped her, then fled. She told police she believed he'd been following her for a few blocks.

The victim was not injured.

The suspect, who police searched the area for but did not find, is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 and 20-30 years old. He was wearing a navy blue baseball cap, blue tee shirt, khaki shorts and dark flip flop sandals.

It's the same area where three people reported being groped from behind back in February.

The first happened near Huron Boulevard and Fulton Street, the second nearly an hour later at Oak Street and Washington Avenue, and the third near Ontario Street and Fulton Street about 30 minutes later.

The suspect in all three cases is described as a white man in his 20s, just shy of 6 feet tall with a medium build. At the time of the incidents he was wearing "gray, wool pea-coat, blue jeans, and a red hoodie under the pea coat."
