The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a $10,000 reward to find those responsible for the burning of three post offices in Minneapolis during May's civil unrest.
The USPIS has made the reward offer for the arrest and convictions of those who "committed arsons, burglaries and thefts of U.S. mail" between Thursday and Saturday, May 28 and May 30.
The following post offices sustained extensive damage in the riots that followed the death of George Floyd.
– Minnehaha Post Office, 3033 27th Avenue South.
– Powderhorn Post Office, 3045 Bloomington Avenue.
– Lake Street Post Office, 110 East 31st Street.
Anyone with information should call USPIS on 1-877-876-2455.
"Take no action to apprehend these individuals yourself," the inspection service said.
