The arcade bar at 3012 Lyndale Ave. S will give fully vaccinated people 20 tokens to play games as a thank you gift.
"We are grateful to everyone for taking this important step to protect the community and help Up-Down return to normal," the bar wrote on Facebook on March 22. "We look forward to enjoying good times with you soon."
Those who have already gotten their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can go to Up-Down between now and April 12 to get their free tokens.
Up-Down is also making this offer available all summer long for those who haven't gotten their vaccine yet. All you have to do is show your vaccine card when you get it within 21 days of your final dose to get your tokens.
Up-Down is the latest business to offer perks for those who choose to get their vaccination when it's available to them. Companies and employers around the world are offering incentives, hoping doing so will encourage people to get the shot.
Krispie Cream this week started offering a free doughnut to anyone who shows their vaccination card.
In Minnesota, more than 25% of the population has received at least one dose of the vaccine, while more than 15% of the state's population has completed the vaccine series, the Minnesota Department of Health's website shows.
