Up-Down offering free tokens to people who show COVID vaccination card

The arcade bar is rewarding people for getting their COVID-19 vaccine.

Up-Down in Minneapolis is offering free tokens to anyone who comes in after they've gotten their final dose of the COVD-19 vaccine.

The arcade bar at 3012 Lyndale Ave. S will give fully vaccinated people 20 tokens to play games as a thank you gift.

"We are grateful to everyone for taking this important step to protect the community and help Up-Down return to normal," the bar wrote on Facebook on March 22. "We look forward to enjoying good times with you soon."

Those who have already gotten their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can go to Up-Down between now and April 12 to get their free tokens.

Up-Down is also making this offer available all summer long for those who haven't gotten their vaccine yet. All you have to do is show your vaccine card when you get it within 21 days of your final dose to get your tokens.

Up-Down is the latest business to offer perks for those who choose to get their vaccination when it's available to them. Companies and employers around the world are offering incentives, hoping doing so will encourage people to get the shot
