Against many odds, damaged livers and egos, Eddie Van Halen and his drummer brother, Alex, and son Wolfgang, return Saturday to Xcel Energy Center with original frontman David Lee Roth.

Van Halen on Friday announced that while it will play its St. Paul gig, the boys are canceling the majority of a summer tour, E! Online reported.

Rolling Stone says the band members "hate each other."

The City of St. Paul is taking a metaphorical wrecking ball to the names of a couple local streets in celebration of Bruce Springsteen's upcoming concerts at Xcel Energy Center. St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman Monday declared Nov. 9-12 "Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Weekend in Saint Paul," which includes the renaming of Kellogg Blvd. and West 7th Street in honor of The Boss.

Prince reportedly in talks to play St. Paul concert

Minneapolis-born music legend Prince may be coming to St. Paul to play a concert next month. Sources tell MPR News that Prince is in talks with the city to put on a show downtown Sept. 15, but not inside the Xcel Energy Center. The city in a statement wouldn't confirm or deny discussions with the musician.
