The victim of a four-vehicle crash that closed eastbound Highway 62 in Minneapolis on Thursday has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office says that Alice Tibbetts, 23, of Mendota Heights, died from blunt force injuries in the Thursday morning crash.
Tibbetts was driving a 2009 Honda Civic on Hwy. 62 near the Portland Avenue exit when she crashed into the back of a Chevy Equinox.
While the Equinox driver pulled onto the shoulder, Tibbetts' Civic was stopped in the lane, and was then rear-ended by a Ford F150 truck.
The Equinox driver then crashed into a Kia Optima as he tried to get out of the path of the F150.
