The Anoka County Sheriff's Office has identified the teenager who died while dirt biking in an Oct. 10 crash with a pickup.

The victim, 17-year-old Bryce Greggory Peterson, of Andover, was identified Tuesday. Peterson was riding a dirt bike eastbound on 172nd Avenue NW in Andover around 3:30 p.m. Saturday when he collided head-on with an 18-year-old man from East Bethel who was driving a Ford F350 truck.

Peterson was airlifted to HCMC in Minneapolis in critical condition and died shortly after he arrived at the hospital Saturday afternoon, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

"At this time no charges have been filed and the incident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office," the sheriff's office said Monday in a release.
