Victims of fatal Isanti County crash ID'd as mother and daughter

The crash shut down Hwy. 65 for around four hours Monday.

The victims of a double-fatal crash in east-central Minnesota Monday evening have been identified by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Killed in the crash were 51-year-old Amy P. Grabow, of Grant, Minnesota, and 16-year-old Abigail L. Grabow, of St. Paul.

Another of Amy Grabow's daughters, a 12-year-old girl, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

A 14-year-old passenger wasn't injured and the 44-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

The State Patrol crash report says Abigail Grabow was driving a 2020 Jeep Gladiator when she drifted across the northbound lanes of Hwy. 65 near Rice Lake Road and into a ditch before striking a tree.

Authorities closed Hwy. 65 from about 6:35 p.m. until about 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Everyone in the vehicle was wearing their seat belt, according to the State Patrol.

According to her Facebook page, Amy Grabow is the founder of All The Feels, which makes blankets and supports Twin Cities youth charities with the profits.
