Officials have confirmed the identities of the two men fatally shot in North Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says that 47-year-old Odell Frazier, of Penn Avenue North, and 56-year-old Eddie Pelmore, of Dupont Avenue North, both died from gunshot wounds to the head just after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The shooting occurred outside Frazier's house on the 4500 block of Penn Avenue North, and police responded to find two men running away from the scene.

WCCO reports police have arrested and charged one of the suspects, 21-year-old Brian Deshawn Morse from Chicago. He's charged with two counts of second-degree murder, and is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Minneapolis police said on its Facebook page that another of the suspects is still at large, adding that it was not a random incident and that the victims were targeted.

The family of Odell Frazier told KSTP he was a father of nine, and was "turning his life around" after moving to Minneapolis from Chicago.
