Police have released surveillance footage of a graffiti vandal who has been "tagging" property in Columbia Heights.

The spray paint-wielding suspect was caught on the city's newly-installed cameras on Central Avenue between 10-11 p.m. on Sunday.

The camera showed him vandalizing buildings, traffic signals, vehicles and garbage cans along the 3900 and 4000 blocks of Central Avenue.

Most of the graffiti shows the word "Revo," which police believe to be the suspect's tagging name.

Columbia Heights PD says the graffiti has caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

He's a white man in his 20s to 30s with a beard, and drives a "boxy looking," blue, four-door sedan.

"We suspect that the male has vandalized other areas in the metro and is known in the graffiti art world," Columbia Heights PD said.
