You're on your motorcycle, cruising through the scenic Gunflint Trail in northern Minnesota.
When suddenly, you've got to stop because of some energetic runaway horses and a pony.
That was the scene Saturday for Henry Johnson, Northland's NewsCenter reports, when he caught video of the equine trio hoofing it along the road with an SUV in pursuit near Grand Marais. It was posted to YouTube (you can watch it above), and has since captured the curiosity of hundreds of viewers.
On Facebook, the horses' owner Marja Wiinaren said everyone is "just fine," noting the animals – who'd escaped from the farm – trekked to the city dump.
She detailed their escape and pursuit on her blog, writing:
"They were stampeding down the Gunflint on either side of the road, at one point weaving through traffic that had thankfully stopped. I am trying to cut them off with my car and they wouldn't let me. I was driving on the left hand shoulder following them and finally at Pinchusion I was able to make them turn in there and not go running all the way to town."
