Gov. Tim Walz said Tuesday there won't be a state-issued curfew Tuesday night in the Twin Cities metro following the police killing of Daunte Wright on Sunday.
On Monday, Walz issued a 7 p.m.-6 a.m. curfew for Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin and Ramsey counties, while cities declared their own curfews in the wake of civil unrest following Wright's death.
The governor said Tuesday on the guidance of law enforcement officials, he wouldn't be issuing another curfew at the state level.
That being said, local municipalities are able to declare citywide curfews, Walz noted.
As of this writing, no cities have declared curfews for Tuesday night.
