Chance, surprised at how tiny the desk is, still blesses us.

We don't do the same desk no more.

NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series places larger-than-life artists in small corporate settings for a uniquely intimate performance. The always earnest Chance the Rapper may have had the most honest reaction to the series yet, opening by outwardly stating he's surprised the series, which he was a fan of, actually took place in a real NPR office.

As one would expect from Chance, he used the one-of-a-kind setting for a different sort of performance from what he's done anywhere else. Opening with Coloring Book's "Juke Jams," Chance then debuted a new poem called “The Other Side.” While it was interrupted by a building announcement, in true Chance fashion he recovered and restarted in the most endearing way possible.

We also get Chance's heartwarming take on Stevie Wonder's "They Won’t Go When I Go." It's the type of cover perfect for such an intimate setting, and really makes this entry into the Tiny Desk series special.
