The latest 'turning of the dials' in Minnesota's COVID-19 response is being revealed.

Gov. Tim Walz is announcing his latest response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in a 3 p.m. press conference.

In it, the governor is expected to announce new guidelines allowing bars and restaurants to resume dine-in service.

However, reports that have emerged on Wednesday suggest that establishments will only be allowed to serve outdoor diners, with limits on the number of people that can be on the premises.

There are also expected to be announcements regarding the reopening of salons and church services, though WCCO political analyst Blois Olson reports that fitness centers are expected to have to wait till mid-July to reopen.
