Watch live: Walz details next steps in COVID-19 vaccination plan

Gov. Tim Walz will further detail the state's decision to expand COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to two more groups. 

The governor Tuesday morning said two more groups (phases) would be eligible to make appointments to get the COVID vaccine starting Wednesday. 

Walz will discuss the next steps in the state's vaccine distribution at a 9:30 a.m. news conference. Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Commissioner Steve Grove, Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen and Rodolfo Gutierrez, the executive director of HACER, will also be at the news conference.
