Two police officers attending a homecoming pep rally at West Fargo High couldn't resist joining in the festivities – and have become internet hits.
School resource officers Todd Pearson and Jason Balvik began busting out the moves during the rally, throwing out shapes including the "sprinkler" in front of hundreds of cheering students.
The video was posted on the City of West Fargo's Facebook page on Saturday, and it's since been viewed more than 35,000 times.
The pair took advantage of a few moments of down-time during the homecoming event to challenge each other to a dance-off, the Forum News Service reports.
"Typically, I don't do a lot of dancing," Officer Pearson said. "That is not typically a course we take in law enforcement."
"I think we should have gotten into a little more technical than we did, but at this point, I'll let him [Officer Balvik] have the victory."
