Watch: Semi hits State Trooper's squad car; Minnesota State Patrol looking for driver

Video shows the moment of impact.

A trooper's squad car was clipped by a semi on Interstate 94 on Wednesday night, and the Minnesota State Patrol is asking the public to help locate the driver who left the scene.

The collision happened on I-94 westbound at Mounds Boulevard in the Twin Cities, and as you can see in the video below, the trooper's emergency lights were activated while pulling up behind a crash scene around 9:25 p.m. The semi then clips the trooper's vehicle.

The trooper was not injured but anyone with information or dash cam footage of the crash is asked to contact east metro dispatch at 651-582-1509.
