The news outlet notes that the skyscraper by Central Park is Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's "highest-profile property" and where his campaign is headquartered.

There is an video posted to YouTube on Tuesday by a man saying he is seeking an audience with Trump (and encouraging people to vote for him) to discuss "an important matter" and would be climbing the tower to get his attention.

It's not been confirmed that the man in the video is the man who climbed the tower.

ABC News reports police have tried to corral the climber off the building, which he started climbing from the 5th floor atrium and as of 5:30 p.m. ET had reached the 16th floor.

He was pulled inside by police at around 6:40 p.m. ET.
