Despite having 52 shots on net and holding the opposition to just 26, the Wild dropped Game 1 of their first-round matchup with the St. Louis Blues, 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday night.

Joel Edmundson netted the game-winner for the Blues.

The Wild were in danger of being shutout on home ice, but with 22 seconds left in regulation, Zach Parise scored for Minnesota.

Blues goaltender Jake Allen deserves a key to the city for his play in net making 51 saves. Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk stopped 24 of 26 shots on net.

With the loss, the Wild trail the best-of-seven-series 1-0. Game 2 is Friday with puck drop from Xcel Energy Center at 7:10 p.m.
