A Waubun man was killed when he was thrown from his vehicle in a rollover crash on Saturday evening.
The Becker County Sheriff's Office says Lester "Skip" Ashton was on County Road 158 just after 8 p.m. when his car rolled.
He was ejected from his vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene by responders.
A posting on the Anderson Family Funeral Home website says his funeral will be held on Friday morning in Mahnomen, with visitation and a prayer service being held on Thursday.
As well as the sheriff's office, the White Earth Tribal police, fire and ambulance departments responded to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation, Becker County officials say.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety recently ended its "100 Deadliest Days of Summer" campaign, which highlights the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day as being the most dangerous on Minnesota roads.
Some 116 people lost their lives in traffic incidents between the two holidays this year.
