WCCO-TV hires new weekend anchor/reporter

Edward Moody is moving back to Minnesota to join the CBS-affiliate as a weekend anchor/reporter. The Pioneer Press reports he will anchor the Saturday evening newscasts with Liz Collin. Moody, who comes to WCCO from the Fox-affiliate in Indianapolis, will make his Twin Cities debut on Friday, Aug. 24. Moody has also worked in Duluth as a morning anchor.

WCCO has hired a a new weekend anchor/reporter, the Pioneer Press reports. Edward Moody, who has worked as a morning anchor in Duluth, comes to WCCO from the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis. He'll make his debut Friday.

Reporter Heather Brown returns to WCCO-TV

Former Twin Cities anchor returns to WGN-TV

Former KSTP-TV anchor Mark Suppelsa will be back on-the-air Thursday evening after a month away for alcohol rehab. In May, the veteran anchorman publicly announced he was seeking treatment for alcohol addiction in Minnesota. Time Out Chicago reports his ongoing recovery will include counseling sessions in Chicago.
