Wisconsin man involved in fatal motorcycle crash in northern Minnesota

A 45-year-old Wisconsin man died in a motorcycle crash in northern Minnesota on Thursday. 

The State Patrol reports that the accident happened at approximately 1:54 a.m. on Highway 1 in Beaver Bay Township, which is located along the North Shore in Lake County. 

Per the crash report, the 45-year-old from Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson south on Highway 1 when he drove off the road onto the shoulder and overturned. 

The man's name is expected to be released later Thursday. No further information about the crash is currently available. 

Johnson Creek is located about 30 miles west of Milwaukee.
