A recall election of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker appears on track after the state's Government Accountability Board validated more than 900,000 recall petition signatures. The Wisconsin State Journal reports claims of widespread petition fraud proved unfounded as elections officials rejected a little more than 30,000 signatures--about 3 percent of the total. Some of the names were duplicates. Officials found only five fake names, including Adolf Hitler, Mick E. Mous, and Donald Duck. Two names--Princess High and Mohammed Ali turned out to be valid.

The recall threatens to upstage this Tuesday's primary election. NPR reports the contentious battle is drawing voters' attention away from the presidential candidates.

The state's WisconsinEye.com site will carry the elections' meeting live.
