Wisconsin woman killed in crash on I-35W in Minneapolis
A 50-year-old Wisconsin woman was ejected from her vehicle after hitting the guard rail on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis Tuesday evening.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the woman was traveling on southbound I-35W at Stinson Boulevard at 7:53 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet freeway.
Her vehicle hit the guard rail on the right side of the road and she was ejected from the vehicle.
She wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's name has not yet been released, but the State Patrol notes she is from Hammond, Wisconsin.
