A 69-year-old woman is dead following a two-car crash on Minnesota's Iron Range.

Francisca Deguia Minter was at a stop sign on 4th Avenue SE in Chisholm, Minnesota, just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to the State Patrol

She attempted to pull out on to Highway 169, but her vehicle was struck by a driver in a pickup truck heading southbound on 169.

Minter, from Chisholm, was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Duluth, but died from her injuries.

The driver of the pickup, a 63-year-old man from Hibbing, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.
