Woman crossing the street struck by vehicle, killed in Brooklyn Park

It happened on Brooklyn Boulevard around 5:30 p.m.

Police are investigating after a 70-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle and killed in Brooklyn Park on Monday night. 

The woman was crossing the street when she struck on the 7500 block of Brooklyn Boulevard just before 5:30 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with police. 

The victim's identity has not been released.
