A woman who was in a critical condition after being pulled from the water at Minnehaha Falls has died from her injuries.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner confirmed that Deeqa Mohamed, 26, of Columbus, Ohio, died at Hennepin County Medical Center on Tuesday.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said she was pulled from the water at the popular park in south Minneapolis on Wednesday, June 17.

It followed a spate of water emergencies in the space of 24 that also saw a man drown in Bde Maka Ska.
