Woman found dead in Minneapolis had 'signs of trauma,' police say
Minneapolis police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman who was found dead inside a home on Wednesday.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the home on the 400 block of Ridgewood Avenue at 12:32 p.m., where they found the body of the woman, who was in her 30s or 40s.
"There were signs of trauma to the victim," MPD said. Police were then called to the scene to begin an investigation.
The medical examiner will determine how she died and whether it was a homicide, as well as release the woman's identity.
