Police in Mendota Heights say a woman was found dead along with a man who required medical treatment on Sunday evening.

Describing it as the scene of a "medical incident," officers were sent to the 1600 block of Diane Road at around 5:30 p.m., having been alerted via a call regarding "two people in their 60s."

At the home, they found a woman already dead, along with a man "in need of medical attention."

The man was taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown at this time.

Mendota Heights PD says it's investigating but hasn't said if the investigation is a criminal one at this time.

However, it did say that there is no wider risk to the public, and nobody is being sought in connection with it.
