Woman found dead, partner missing after Iron Range accident
Authorities searching for a couple last seen at an Iron Range bar on Friday night have found the body of one of them.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says that the body of Debbie Senarighi, 60, was found on White Iron Lake, southeast of Ely, at 11:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Her partner, Kenneth Wildenauer, with whom she is believed to have gone snowmobiling, has not been located.
They were reported missing after Wildenauer failed to show up for work in Cloquet Monday.
The sheriff's office believes their snowmobile broke through thin ice as they neared Beargrease Island.
Attempts are ongoing to find Wildenauer.
They had last been seen at Tank's Bar in Babbitt on Friday, with police later finding their cars at Wildenauer's cabin in Babbitt. The snowmobile was missing from the cabin.
