Police in Minneapolis are investigating the suspicious death of a woman in her 20s.
The woman, aged "about 20," was found by officers responding to a welfare check just after 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of 18th Avenue South.
The statement from Minneapolis Police Department says the woman was "obviously deceased" and that evidence at the scene "officers to believe that the death may be unnatural."
A suspicious death investigation has been launched as a result, with the woman's identity expected to be released in the coming days.
