Farmington police are investigating after the death of a woman, believed to be the city's first homicide in more than four decades.
WCCO reports police were called to Linden Street around 11:40 p.m. Thursday.
A woman was found dead at the residence, reportedly due to blunt force trauma, KSTP says.
A man was arrested, and police say he is related to the victim, KARE 11 reports.
According to multiple tweets, police told reporters the city hasn't had a homicide since 1972 – but later amended that to 1975.
