The search for a woman missing from Bemidji has been called off after she was found safe in Montana.
The Bemidji Police Department provided an update to its search for Stephanie Chupp, 23, saying it received information that she may have been at a business in Eureka, in Lincoln County, Montana.
After speaking with local sheriff's deputies, Chupp was found "in good health and unharmed" on Thursday.
Chupp told the deputies she had traveled alone to Montana and had not left Bemidji under any duress.
Her disappearance on Monday had sparked the creation of a Facebook group titled "Help Find Stephanie Chupp," which has thousands of members.
A post on the page by a relative of Chupp's read: "We have GOOD NEWS!! Stephanie has been found safe! While there are many questions that we still don’t have answered, we rejoice in this wonderful news! As a family, these past three days have been excruciatingly difficult for us, so please bear with us as we work through these coming days."
