Woman's death in Bloomington 'suspicious,' another woman in custody

Police say the death was suspicious.

The deceased has been identified by police as Corrine Louise Gibbs, 69, of Bloomington. She was found dead at her home on 12th Avenue.

A 46-year-old woman with whom she lived is being held on probable cause 1st degree murder.

A woman has been arrested after another woman was found dead in her Bloomington home.

The Bloomington Police Department said the 69-year-old's body was found at the home on the 8100 block of 12th Avenue South just after 8 p.m. Sunday.

Police say it's being investigated as a "suspicious death," with one woman currently in custody in connection with it.

The dead woman's identity has not yet been released, with police expected to make more information available later on Monday.

The Hennepin County Crime Lab and Medical Examiner's Office are assisting with the investigation.
