Authorities in Sauk Rapids are investigating a "suspicious" death that occurred there this weekend.

Reports say the deceased is a 30-year-old woman who was discovered early Saturday morning.

According to KSTP, police were dispatched to a home on the 1200 block of 1st Avenue N. just before 3:00 a.m., finding the woman "unconscious and not breathing."

The station says officers and paramedics performed lifesaving measures but were unable to revive her.

Few details are known at this point, and authorities have not said anything about the circumstances of the morning.

However, as WCCO notes, authorities say there is no threat to the public.

The report adds that police are planning to release more details on Monday.
