Woodbury police asking for help finding teen missing more than a month

Daemon Ecklund was last seen on Sept. 2.

If you know where Daemon Ecklund is, the Woodbury Police Department would like to hear from you.

The 14-year-old has been missing since Wednesday, September 2, and was last seen near the intersection of Upper Afton Rd and Weir Dr, traveling westbound on foot, according to a tweet from his father:

Ecklund is 5'5" and weighs 105 pounds, the Polly Klaas Foundation says. He is said to have bleached blonde hair and a piercing on his right ear.

He was last seen wearing a black and grey T-shirt with black pants, the foundation notes.

According to a Facebook page set up to aid the search, the teen is originally from Englewood, Colorado, "and may be headed to Denver, CO or West Fargo, ND." 

As WCCO notes, officials say Ecklund has a history of running away.
