Zombie infestation spreads to two cities with over thousands ready to hit streets for braaaaaiiiiinnnns
What started with about 150 people tromping bar to bar in zombie makeup has spread into an annual spectacle of fake blood and brains that now spans Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Organizers behind the Zombie Pub Crawl say they've already sold about 18,500 tickets. They're providing buses to cart the undead between Minneapolis' West Bank and Lowertown in St. Paul.
The Star Tribune has some highlights, including performances by Andrew W.K. (in St. Paul) and 2 Live Crew (Minneapolis). Organizers say they hope W.K.'s performance will rally enough of the undead to break the Guinness Book of World Records for largest zombie gathering.
The horde gathers 4 p.m. Saturday.
