17-point lead not enough as Wolves throw up another dud vs. Bucks

If there's loss on the schedule the Wolves (12-22) could point to and say, "Yep, that was the one we should never lose – not in a million years," this was it.

Minnesota built a 22-5 lead in the first quarter as the Bucks (14-21) missed their first 11 shots and watched shooting guard O.J. Mayo get ejected, only to fade like the sunset in the dead of winter and lose to its border rival, 95-85.

According to the Star Tribune, it's the fourth time this season the Wolves have lost a game after leading by at least 17 points.

Minnesota has lost 14 of 18 games since starting the season 8-8.

The fourth quarter was so bad for the Wolves that the only positive thing we could find the energy to put in this recap is the replay of Zach LaVine's alley-oop dunk.
