This Eden Prairie native is 'the best shooter in college basketball'

That was an amazing show the Creighton Blue Jays men's basketball team put on display in a 96-68 win over No. 4 Villanova on Monday night.

Creighton (16-3) is known for launching – and hitting – an absurd number of 3-pointers, but did you know that their best shooter from beyond the arc is former Eden Prairie standout Ethan Wragge?

Wragge, a fifth-year senior, hit seven straight 3s in a 6:03 span of the first-half in the Monday night massacre over Villanova. He finished with a game-high 27 points on nine 3s. Creighton set a school record with 21 3-pointers in the game.

"Once I get one to go, my teammates know I'm looking for two or three," Wragge said, via CBS Sports. "I just want to get the ball and let it fly. That's what our team does. We share the ball and take open 3s."

What makes the story more interesting is that Wragge is a 6-foot-7 center. Not only is it rare for a center to shoot so well from deep, but it might be even more rare for a center be so short.

College Basketball Talk says "Ethan Wragge is the best shooter in college basketball."

SB Nation wrapped up their story by saying Wragge "forgot how to miss 3s against Villanova."

Even more amazing is that 148 of Wragge's 154 shots this season have come from behind the arc – and he's hitting 50 percent of his 3s!

His threes are so lethal that they are nicknamed "WraggeBombs," and Wragge himself isn't afraid to so use it, as he did on Twitter following the blowout over 'Nova.

Here's video of the clinic he put on Monday night.
