The Star Tribune reports that approximately 24,000 people attended TwinsFest over the weekend.

TwinsFest has been held at the Metrodome since 1989, but with the Dome scheduled to be demolished at the end of the Vikings 2013 season, the Twins might have to find a new place hold the three-day event.

The only way TwinsFest will be at the Metrodome next year is if the Vikings host the NFC Championship game.

One of the most popular players at the event was top-prospect Miguel Sano. General manager Terry Ryan told the Pioneer Press that young prospects aren't usually invited to TwinFest, but the amount of interest in Sano gave the Twins reason to invite him.

Infielder Brian Dozier is eagar for a fresh start following a rough 2012 season in which he hit just .234 before being sent to AAA Rochester.

Trevor Plouffe is also eager to prove his worth during spring training. He showed off a lot of power last season before a thumb injury put a stop to his offensive production.
